I bought this Conway Stewart Marlborough in Classic Green resin with the intention of doing a review, but never got around to it. It’s brand new, unused, in mint condition and comes with the original box and papers.
The Classic Green resin is one of my favorite Conway Stewart materials. Shimmering shades of green flakes float atop a black background with white highlights providing contrast, depth and complexity that rivals the most beautiful celluloids. The clip and lever filler are gold plated while both bands on the barrel are solid 18k gold. The matching solid 18k gold nib is of medium width and is a perfect candidate for a stub, cursive italic, or even an Architect grind, which can be added for no additional charge.
This pen is in absolute mint condition. Get it now for only $450, a significant discount from its MSRP of $615.
