So I did go ahead and buy a replacement nib section today, but I'm pretty sure the sac is going to need replacing too (so basically I bought a plastic tube. :) )
I looked online and found a tutorial that looked good but the photos were missing. Any recommendations?
TIA!

Richard Binder has a pretty good description

I'm not sure what you mean by 'plastic tube'. For an Esterbrook 1.00 pen you need a #16 or a #18 sac (latex rubber) depending on the pen size.

I believe she meant that when she had to replace the section and the sac, she had essentially bought "a plastic tube" (i.e. cap and barrel). I could be wrong, as it is as easy for me as falling out of bed. Nonetheless, I'm sticking to my story.
