Here are few random pieces of stationary I haven’t used in a while;

16621

A Parker I.M. Silver fountain pen
It’s in great condition with a medium nib. I have increased the flow on it so it writes very well.

A Pentel P205 0.5 unopened mechanical pencil with a pack of leads
A decent every day mechanical pencil

A Lamy logo blue Ball point pen
A used decent ball point pen

A single winner takes the lot. I’d prefer this to lot to go to the end user preferably a student.

I will cover UK or international shipping.

To enter state what your first fountain pen was and I will be back in a month or so to choose a winner.

Not an entry just wanted to say I love my parker I.M. I use the J. Herbin 1676 in it at work and my co-workers love it.

Not an entry, but I'd just like to say as a student in the UK I use a Parker Urban (same nib as IM) every day, and my sole non-FP instruments are my Pentel P207 and a Lamy ballpoint. All are extremely reliable and are absolutely brilliant for long periods of writing, annotating things etc.

The Urban is more reliable at starting and not skipping than my Sonnet and TWSBI, both of which were more expensive.

As my Latin teacher Mr. Tabbers onceexplained witth his bright eyes lit, the word "student" derives from the verb "studere" (+ dativus), which basically means "to make an effort", which is exactly what I am doing by participating in your PIF.

Thanks for your generous offer and good luck to all participants!

PS This morning, scrolling through the bottom drawer of my desk, I found my first fountain pen. I have never been able to find out the brand for it was a gift from my uncle and the pen has no brand name on it; it is made of plastic and the nib has suffered so much from use (abuse?) that it is no longer usable, but .... it still holds great emotional value to me, since it was this pen that I used to write my first (love) letters to a pen friend (starting at the age of 10 during a period of at least 4 years).

I am a student in college although I am 43. I would be interested in entering if possible. My main interest is the Parker. I would send the others another entrant.

Not a student, so not an entry, but my first was a Lamy Safari fine nib. I still have it, and use it every day.

If it's still open I'm in. I'm going nights for my masters although I'm an old geezer. 😊

I will do the draw probably end of next week. I've got a lot of work that needs to be finished this week. So I won't have time to post it until then.

Sorry about this going on for so long.
