I love mine! Great dependable writer with a wet medium nib.

By the way the ink that I am using is Pelikan Edelstein Ruby. Beautiful ink and I just love how the pen accentuates the color. The final color is more of a dark hue pink.

I had the 45 flighter as s schoolkid, but found myself looking for a 25 when I was looking for a pen. Was one of very few pens to have a genuine aesthetic of its age. It looks 1970s, and not the simple cigar shape of just about every other pen, every other age.
Got four of the beggars now, three working. Just a shame you have to guess the nib width... its scary taking a dremel to a medium bib, but their medium as too fst

Great pens. One took me all the way through school and college, and I now have two (one stainless steel, one black). Both are factory standard italics, and one is often in my daily rotation.

Hi. First post! Have had my 25 flighter since1981 and use daily. Replaced nib 2 years ago. Last week dropped pen which landed vertically straight into nib. 😢. Cannot find link to supplier. Can anyone help me get replacement medium nib. My handwriting is illegible without my pen but most importantly it was a 21st birthday present from a very special friend. Here's hoping.

I've seen them regularly on eBay but nowhere retail I'm afraid.

ETA: Battersea Pen Home has spare nibs for £32. You're guaranteed it's in a good state but that is expensive.

Wow 32£ ? That is expensive. @Morricl sorry to hear about your nib. Probably a shorter less expensive route would be to buy a new pen? Sbrebrown has one, not sure if its still on sale

Hurry! http://www.sbrebrown.com/for-sale/ 17 only!

I'm aiming to build my fountain pen collection around green, one of my favorite colors.

Ahahaha! But I heard the hardest colors to find are orange and red.

There is no red Parker 25 but there is the Orange version that is very very hard to find these days.

Have a look at this site run by someone who used to work for Parker making 25's: http://www.moreengineering.co.uk/parker-pen/4582690612

I had never seen one of those before, nor been aware of its existence. It has an interesting appearance.
