It occurs to me I never reach for this ink, and maybe one of you would?
The bottle is about 3/4 full.

I'll hold this PIF open until Fri Apr 3, Noon EDT. If more than one of you wants it, I'll do the random number generator thingie.

There's a review by someone on FPN here. (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/259376-sailor-kobe-46/)

My nibs are too fine to make the ink look anything other than a kind of black. :hippie:

Cheers, my dears,
Julie

Everyone welcome!

Here's my sample so you can see what I mean:

Yet you can see there's some depth to this ink here:

Not an entry, just an encouragement to people to enter this generous PIF. #46 is one of my favourite Kobe inks, and I have most of them. It is such a cool, subtle and sophisticated blue-grey shade. I love it.

I love the Nagasawa Kobe inks. I have #6, #8, #34 and #39, and this would would make a great addition. Please consider me for this PIF.

I'll toss my name in the hat. I love grey inks and this is one I haven't tried.

I'd love to enter this PIF, please, Julie.

This ink seems like a muted Miruai - beautiful, both of them.

I will shamelessly throw my hat into the ring, as well. Having sampled this ink (via a generous friend), I adore this color and it has been on my "buy a bottle" wish list.

Thank you for a generous giveaway, Julie.

For those of us who don't win, we can console ourselves with Iroshizuku's discontinued Fukagawa-nezu (http://wwwscriblets-bleets.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/hobby-box-17.html), which we can't have...

I would love to try this ink. This would be both my first Sailor ink and my first gray ink. Thanks for the chance.

A couple of people posted but said not to include them in the PIF.

I assigned folks by order of your post: 1 through 14.

And it's RayCornett for the ink! Please PM me your snail mail.

Hope I did this okay, folks!

I always wish I had ink for everyone. :bad: Ah well... thanks for hanging in!

Hmm... I'm number six in the draw. That means I'd have to bump off five people to get this - might be less hassle to get it from cool-japan on Ebay. :)

Thanks to Julie for the PIF and for drawing my attention to a Kobe colour I'd not been aware of.

Laura N has a bottle of this for sale at a steal of a price!

Among so many other great inks, too. (http://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread.php/11361-Inkapalooza?p=125235&viewfull=1#post125235)

This was a PIF that went south: the package was marked as delivered, yet was lost or stolen before Ray got to it.

Ray, today I sent you 5mls of a different yet hopefully special Sailor/Bung Box ink. No tracking info because, uh, what's the point? ha-ha-ha!

Somehow, FP/ink/paper experiences should always end happily, IMHO.

Aww! Thanks so much! I am back down here now at the address the PIF was shipped to. I now have the Sailor 1911 standard in hand that I had planned to fill with the No.46.

I definitely appreciate this :)

The sample just arrived without a single problem. Without a doubt the biggest sample I have ever received. I have been wanting to try bung box so I am happy :)
I am away from home for a few days and all the pens I have with me are inked up and in use but as soon as one runs out I will give it a try!
