FS: Nice user grade ARTUS Rekord piston filler - late 1940's - 14 K nib (ref: pen#6)

A few weeks ago I visited the Penshow in Köln (Germany) and I was able to score some nice old restorable pens there.

I have been working on them so here is one for sale on FPG.
I can't keep them all for myself and this is the way I try to keep the hobby affordable.

Brand: Artus (Later Lamy after 1948) Model: Rekord.
Made in Germany - around 1948.
Material: Barrel, cap & blind cap: Raven black Thermoplastic
Inner section and feeder: Ebonite (HR)
Clip: Gold Plated brass. Most of the gold plating is gone, the gold color you see in mainly brass. Needs some polishing now and then...
Filling system: Piston filler. There is no blind cap, the end knob on the pen directly operates the filling system.
Nib: (Not original) 14 K Gold - "MJR Warranted 14 Ct. Osmi Point" Line width M.
Very smooth writer. See writing sample.
Condition: Used in fair condition - Repaired cracks in the cap, barely visible. Still a good looking user grade pen.

Edited the description. Repaired crack is not in the barrel, but in the cap. Barrel is OK, no leaking!
Reduced the price to us$ 15,-- only!

More or less by coincidence I found that I marked the barrel as cracked, but it was only the cap. I saw it because I wanted the pen give a bump, wondering why it did not sell for such a low price. After correction it found its new owner quickly.:) And, to be honest, I would not buy a piston filler with a cracked barrel myself either.

There will be more pens... So good hunting to you!
