FS: HELM. Yet another old German pen from the 1930's. (ref: pen #1)

A few weeks ago I visited the Pen Show in Köln (Germany) and I was able to score some nice old restorable pens there.

I have been working on them so here is one for sale on FPG.
Nice clean user grade pen with a slightly deformed cap.

Brand: HELM (On the clip).
Made in Germany - Manufactured around 1935.
Material: Barrel, cap & blind cap: Black celluloid.
Section and feeder: Ebonite (HR)
Clip: plated brass (gold plating partly gone).
Filling system: Piston filler. Under the blind cap is the knob on the back end of the pen that operates the piston filler.
Nib: As the original nib was broken I mounted a new steel IPG nib. Line width F-M - non flex. See writing sample.
Condition: Fair - Deformed and scratched cap. Original cork piston seal. Ink window amber, clear.

Closed: 132 mm
Without cap: 127 mm
Posted: 167 mm
Diam. over barrel: 11,8 mm
Diam over the cap: 13,7 mm

Hey guys, these pens that Lex restores are an amazing value. He is wonderful to do business with. Of the two I bought, one is flex and both are beautiful and great writing pens. IMHO they seem as nice as my Pelikans.

I second that. When you buy from Lex, it's not so much a pen as a functional, historical work of art.
