View Full Version : Galalith Bulb Filler

Perfect for the slender hand, this piece of antique French galalith is only 11 millimeters in diameter. The nib is a 5mm Bock, the trim is nickel silver. Both the barrel and the cap are lined. I haven't yet decided on whether to include a clip or not. The one I would use is in the last photo.

I love this pen! What a beautiful pattern in the body! I'm normally not big on clips, but I do like the hammered/artisanal feel to the one in the photo, and I think it echoes the patterning in the plastic as well. In fact, I think the two rings on the body would look amazing if they got the same finish as well. (Only if you use the clip, though. Otherwise, keep them sleek.)

It's a beautiful pen, I really enjoyed seeing the step by step photos of how it was made.
