The ‘ORIENTA’ pens I offer here are supposedly made in the early 1950’s.
N.O.S., brand new, never inked, only dipped for nib testing.
Specifications:
Brand: ORIENTA.
Made in Germany - around 1950-1955.
Material: Barrel, cap , blind cap and section: Raven black thermoplastic or celluloid.
Feeder: Ebonite (HR)
Clip and cap ring: Gold colored brass. (not sure if this is gold plating).
Filling system: Piston filler. There is no blind cap, the end knob on the pen directly operates the filling system. Good cork seal.
Nib: "HEWA 8". Line width 1.0. Non flex Stub, converted/reground by me, no iridium. See writing sample.
Condition: New Old Stock in nice condition. No scratches or dings or other marks. Some crimp in the barrel. Cap screws on and off a bit heavy.
Dimensions:
Closed: 121 mm
Without cap: 115 mm
Posted: 148 mm
Diam. over barrel: 11,6 mm
Diam over the cap: 13,3 mm
