I was sitting outside enjoying breakfast this morning when I realized I had my old point & shoot laying around. I decided to snap up some pictures of what I received yesterday. Since I'm too lazy to write up an entire review I'm just putting this up for reference if anyone else is interested in their offerings.
Sorry about the glare in some of the pictures. I can't fine the light box and my dSLR is with family on vacation.
Piper Empire Dark Forest Fountain Pen ($35)
Franklin-Christoph Model 27 Chrome/Grey FP (~$70)
Unfortunately the Model 27 is too small for my hands so I haven't inked or used it yet. I sent them an email hoping I can exchange/upgrade to a Model 29 or Model 65.

Piper Empire Dark Forest Fountain Pen
- Only Medium was available when I was order. I'm not sure if this is standard with this pen or the other sizes were sold out.
- Residue on the threads. Not a big deal at all considering the price.
- The Barrel is made out of acrylic I believe which is super light. The problem is the cap has a portion where it's made out of some metal (aluminium?). It makes the pen very top heavy. I personally don't post my pens but this can be an issue for others.
- I don't mind CC but why is only 1/2 the tail end of the converter available? I'm young and even for me it's bothersome to fill up. I have to take the entire barrel off.
Franklin-Christoph Model 27 Chrome/Grey FP
- Sturdy pen but a bit think and heavy.
