For sale is a Yard-O-Led sterling silver propelling pencil. It is hallmarked (Birmingham 1964) and uses 1.18 mm lead. It will come with a tube of 12 three-inch B grade leads. The pencil still has several (six or so) pieces of lead in it. The condition of the pencil is excellent with only typical light/minor wear from normal use/age. The twist/propelling mechanism is in working order.
The barrel and cap have an attractive engine-turned design with a blank cartouche on the cap, and the small plain cap band features MADE IN ENGLAND. The pencil measures about five inches or 129 mm. I'm not an expert on YOL pencils, but my understanding is that this style or design of YOL pencil is relatively rare.
