Trades

All pens except #6 are open to trade offers, Might trade #6, but really depends on the offer, mainly looking for a nib swap with that one.

Shipping & payment

Shipping is $7 for USPS Priority in the US (AK/HI included, as it doesn't affect the price anyways), Can do $3 first class shipping on *some* of the pens in a bubble mailer. International will vary. Prices shown do not reflect shipping unless otherwise stated.

I prefer paypal for payment (Verified account if over 50).

The List

#1
Pelikan 20 (M21) Silvexa FP/BP set. Very good condition cartridge pen. 14K Platinum coated Oblique Broad nib, the caps on both are the matted textured version rather than the striped version. For the pen to work properly you need to use two short cartridges back-to-back which gives it a little torque and secures the cartridge onto the section, I'm told this is common of most Pelikan cartridge pens (I'll provide some empties with it for syringe filling).

The ballpoint comes with four new Blue Schneider Express 225 refills and includes the original 137M Pelikan refill (which is dried up).

#2

Parker 45 GT, black body (mid-late 60s most likely has "45" on the cap), with a steel medium nib. No converter (can provide the one it came with, which is all dried up and hardened and will need a sac replace), but it should work with a standard modern parker converter, can also syringe fill regular parker cartridges (if I can find some spare parker carts will include them). Smooth tipping and has been cleaned. Got some usual light marks and usage marks on the plastic itself, cap is in good shape.

I do have some original working converters on the way, and will update this list with an optional add-on price to include one once I know they fit.

Asking $25 Sold

#3

Parker Vacumatic 1st Generation, Silver Pearled (with a slight green tint), just shy of 5 inches capped, about 0.5 inches thick, and 6 inches posted. top half (nib side facing up) is pretty bright, the bottom half is a little darker, an almost mossy green. No transparency completely opaque. Has 3 rings on the cap, Arrow clip (with very fine line fins), and a 2-tone 14K Arrow Nib that writes like a smooth wet fine (nib appears to have some crimp marks on the sides under the 60x loupe but in no way affects the writing performance). Jewel on the end cap is the original pearled color, jewel on top appears to be an aftermarket replacement with a black jewel. The vacumatic plunger is the lock-down type, giving it a shorter end cap. You give it a little turn to pop it out, and then turn it back when pushed to lock it down before putting the end cap back on.

Has a very faint cursive signature along the dark side of the barrel.

No date code or marking that I can find, only branding is on the nib.

Eversharp Skyline (1940s), Dark Green cap dome and body, 1/10 14K Gold Filled cap. Two air hole drills on both sides (common to the skylines), plus two little rivet holes just behind the clip (possibly used to have an emblem or something there when the gold overlay was rotated). The overlay can be nudged so they're directly behind the clip, but I'm letting them show in the picture so you can see how they appear.

Nib is a firm 14K Fine. Write sample here http://i.imgur.com/FHiIS9r.jpg

Sac is older, but still good and been recently talc'd. I polished up the gold and barrel a little bit, still some light marks. There's some brassing on about half of the lever's surface. Cap screws on nice and snug, and posts pretty well. Already have two other skylines, and I'm not big on firm nibs.

Has the original long hard rubber breather tube (important for good consistent flow) in good condition.

Asking $45 or Trade On Hold

#5

An unbranded BCHR (Black Chased Hard Rubber) lever filler, resembles the design of a Moore L92, but has no branding in the blank spot that would normally say Moore Self-Filling pen. Nice surface condition, some light marks where the cap screws on. Nib is a 14K Untipped warranted springy fine-to-medium.

An older write sample shown here with Diamine Imperial Blue http://i.imgur.com/72LCDun.jpg (which seemed to work rather well for it).

I'm looking for a smaller or different nib to trade for my Pelikan M850's 18K Broad 2-tone nib. Close up pictures of the nib can be seen here http://i.imgur.com/WEcF4R9.jpg , Smooth, a bit on the firm side. I would like to get something in possibly an EF or F, or a Cursive italic grind if larger than an F. If such a thing as a springy 14K M8xx nib exists I would consider that too.

In terms of trades for the whole pen. I'm not looking to give it up, but I would consider something like an Eversharp Doric (Vac or Lever filler) or Nakaya.

Pelikan M250 (1992-1996), with original box and sleeve, It's not the W.-Germany cap, so it's after 1991, but before 1997. Has a monotone 14K Medium nib, When I first got this pen, the nib seemed like a hard starter, turned out someone had possibly sprung the nib. I ended up disassembling the nib unit, tuning it, getting it back together and heat setting the feed/collar now it has excellent flow and starts right up after uncapping.

Has mostly light marks on the plastic, a little bit of brassing on the tip of the clip where the point at the bottom sticks out. Most of the gold in the cap dome engraving is intact with a little fading near the middle of the pelikan logo on top of the cap.

Include a Pelikan Gold-Plated Steel 1.0 nib unit for $15 more (or $25 by itself) ( write sample of the 1.0 http://static.karlblessing.com/pens/M250/1stub.jpg and close up shot of the nib http://static.karlblessing.com/pens/M250/1stub_close.jpg ) SOLD

Italix Parson Captain's Commission with a Bexley 2-Tone Fine Nib, with the original M Cursive Italic Nib included. Also includes the original Mr.Pen Box and converter. The weight is decent and it posts very well, but for some reason the M nib seems to be a little inconsistent (note the write sample), however the bexley fine I'm including is smooth and consistent. Including both nibs for completeness, perhaps your choice of ink will suit the M nib better or if you know how to get it working better.

Asking $65 or Trade (On Hold Pending Trade)

#9

Sheaffer Tuckaway Valiant Vac-Fill (1945-1947), Gold-Brown Striation, 2-tone 14K Medium Triumph Nib. Restored by Write on Time Restoration in Spring of 2014. Still pretty shiny, can't really see any evidence of brassing on the gold plated areas (there might be a tiny bit on the very tip of the clip, but can't really tell if it's just shimmer or brassing), might be a tiny little speck on the wide cap band.

Recently inked it up with J.Herbin 1670 Ocean Bleu, [write sample here](http://i.imgur.com/hMnavGH.jpg), it's a little on the wet side. It's also capable of writing a finer line on the flip side of the nib (shown briefly in the same write sample).

Dollar i717 demonstrators with M (Japanese sizing it seems like), and a solid grey i717, along with a Pilot Penmanship (with the M Nib from my Black Crocodile Metropolitan). All relatively new.

Write sample off i717 Demonstrators if you're wondering ( http://i.imgur.com/06F3jwL.jpg )

The black end demonstrator one does have a little chip off the end of the plastic lip where the end cap meets. Doesn't seem to hurt anything, just a little pointy there when you have the end cap off.

$4/ea for any of the 5 pens in this group All 5 Sold

I have a small box of Zebra-G nibs, no way am I going thru all 10 any time soon, so I'm putting up 5 of them for $2/each. (I can get shipping down to 1.90 in a padded envelope on em). Works with a speedball or tachikawa nib holder, or if you want to shave off the sides of a Noodler Ahab feed you can kind of make it work in there.

Otherwise you can request one of the five, Free with a Pen Purchase.

A little note on the Zebra-G nibs, they're not stainless steel, so they tend to need to be replaced after a couple months of usage, but I figured this may be a good way for someone to play around with one before committing to buying a box of 10 of them for $13 ( they're at JetPens here : http://www.jetpens.com/Zebra-Comic-Pen-Nib-G-Model-Chrome-Pack-of-10/pd/4195 ).
