Worth the cost to restore a Wahl-Eversharp flexible 2 nib?

Hi all,

I have a wahl-eversharp ringtop black (not too sure what material) but the nib looks like it have seen better days. Seem like at some point of time, it had been dropped or something. No tipping material left and rough like razor on paper.

Is it worth the effort to send it for retipping and repair?
