I raised a post some time ago about a good green ink. I had a few candidates and Jon was particularly adamant (to say the least) about Diamine Sherwood Green. I like the look of it on the internet pictures and liked it but internet colours dont always reveal true colours on paper in front of you. Well I ordered it because I too liked the look of the colour. It arrived the other day and I inked up and put it to paper. Wow. I agree Jon. No argument. Absolutely stunning and I dont think anyone could name it better. Robin Hood (Richard Green and Erroll Flynn) would have chosen that name. Just thrilled. Colours are so expressive. Sending a Xmas card with Best Wishes written in some of these varous inks colours certainly make using fountain pens so far better than the boring ball point colours.
