I need help from a devoted and thorough Pelikan enthusiast. The question is this:
I have a Pelikan 140 and the nib screws out easily. Will a Pelikan m250 nib that screws in fit and work with my 140 with no modifications?
If you know and can email me id appreciate it.

The nibs from a M1xx/1xx, M250/200/205, M4xx/400 that are screw fit should be interchangeable without colliding with the cap, the one from a 140 will seem smaller though in the body of a M250 and vice versa.
Some of the M600/M605 nibs can fit into the M200/M400 if it's been seated deeply enough in the collar as not to collide with the edge of the cap (but may be too close for a 1xx).
Aesthetics aside, yes a M250 nib will fit into a screw-fit 140.
edit: The problem you *might* encounter depending on the age of the 140, is the nib from the M250 having too long a feed to screw in all the way. But the other way around (140 nib in a M250 body) will certainly work. IF you have both already it can't hurt to try, just don't force anything.

Yeah the 140 is not necessarily compatible with the 200 series nibs. It might be, it might not. Only way to know is to try.

It should fit. Just be careful when you screw the cap on and if there is any resistance, stop. It means the nib is too long for the cap.
