Ordered a Bulow X30 from xfountainpens because the one I already have is such a great writer. Took a chance on one of the 79s based on my experience with the X30. 25ml of Chesterfield Archival Black to top it all off.

Lady Onogaro, I definitely will. Pics will follow in this thread as soon as I get the chance. They are low cost pens, but the X30 I already have is a wonderfully smooth writer.
One of these pens(haven't decided yet) will be used to try out those inks!

Imho, the plaid X79 is absolutely lovely. Not too keen on the faux diamonds ringing the barrel, but for $9 I can ignore them just fine, lol. Both of them are nice pens, really. And I really love the fine nibs.
I plan to put black Parker Quink in the X79. The other is a test pen to try out various inks. I need to give them both a decent flush first.

Thanks. It's actually a Pearl White. It's lovely, I think. And the other one that I have of that model is a great writer. Nice and smooth.
