"Urban" sketch I did of the small river-side cafés, looking down from the esplanade near Federation Square in Melbourne. This isn't my usual style, so was a bit of a challenge. I had fun with it though, and will try doing more.
Done using Sakura Pigma 005 and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

It looks very much like turn-of-the-century paintings made for the European market by the Japanese. I like those a lot, and I like this a lot.

Looks wonderful!
I've tried drawing anything recognizable, but usually end up with an abstract thing of doodles that everyone seems to think that I planned it that way!

Awesome work.

Thanks CO. I'm enjoying trying new ways to sketch and draw. I'm hopeless at Zentangles though; I wish I had your ability cos you make it look so easy, and it definitely isn't!

Thank you!
Abstract is good. There's no law that says a drawing needs to resemble anything recognisable ☺️ And anyway, as long as you enjoy the process, who cares what the end result looks like........

Thanks, Sadiq. I had a lot of fun doing it. It turned out better than I anticipated 😊
