This is a pen I finished over the weekend.
It is made from Ebonite. The design I call "kiseru"
The urushi lacquer I call "nambankawari-nuri". Namban-Kawarinuri is the term for „experimental Lacquer“.
Namban = Southern Barbarian, designs influenced by or made for foreign market. Kawari = experimental lacquer.
Many circles have been drawn around the parts and sprinkled with various powders such like gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, tin, bronze, mother of pearl and so on.
The nib is an 18 Kt.Jowo
Best,
Martin
