Boy did they. This pen glitters, it swirls, the gold is deep and mesmerizing, the black and nearly clear celluloid keep this pen's bling from being gaudy. The nib has been ground to a butter-line stub by Pendleton brown. This is a pen for people who like long bodied pens. If you've got a yen for a grander time, for some Art Deco love, this pen can't be beat. (Visconti calls the filling system on this pen a piston fill. What that means is a trapped piston filling convertor.
