For sale is a Sheaffer fp in carmine striated pattern with gold trim and a Triumph style nib. It is in excellent condition with only typical light wear from age/normal use. I was told that the pen is a Statesman II, though I wasn't able to verify that. I also think it dates from the late 40s. The pen is a vac filler. I purchased it earlier this year; it had just been restored by the seller. The 14k Triumph nib is smooth and writes a F or EF line. The barrel imprint is fully legible. The pen measures 5 inches capped. The cap posts securely. The Sheaffer white dot is on top of the cap; a relatively rare spot for it. The section has some transparency and thus functions like an ink window. $95, including shipping in the USA; will accept PayPal or check/money order. Thank you.
