I'm curious about that triangular profile. Is it comfortable to hold?

I have the vintage style of this pen and it has the same triangular shape. It is very comfortable. If you can use a Lamy Safari, it is very similar although smaller in girth. If you hold your pen in the proper "tripod" grip, it feels very natural.

In fact it can help *train* the tripod grip. I gave a friend with a horrible death grip a Lamy Safari and while she found it horribly awkward at first a few months later I would notice her writing and even with another pen her grip had been totally changed, she was way more comfortable as a result.

Its true and exactly how I rid myself of the death grip. Took me 6 months to finally get it to where I did not have to think about it anymore.
