August 20th : $250 USD Shipped (shipping included for US-only), also will consider trade offers.
1992 Omas Europa Limited Edition (#2,454 of 3,500), created as a commemoration to the signing of the Maastricht Treaty.
Does not include the original clear acrylic case/box (which would have doubled the price anyways)
18K 2-tone Fine Nib (firm), been recently tuned by Dan Smith (NibSmith.com).
Originally had a crack in the nib/feed collar that unscrews, the collar has been replaced with a brand new one before it was sent to Dan Smith for tuning.
The blue material is Blue Vegetal Resin (made from cotton) with a gold-plated trim (there is some plating loss, mostly around the edges of the cap band and the band around the piston knob), and has a small diamond stud embedded in the front of the cap.
It is a piston filler with smoothly moving piston. The nib unit can be unscrewed, but I would not make a habit of doing so, they're not designed to be easily removed like Pelikan nibs.
The writing sample is on a Rhodia No.12 pad inked with Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo.
I like the feel of it, I'm a sucker for the faceted sides, but I have way too many fine nibs, and I lean more towards springy nibs, this one has a firm nib.
Asking 300 USD + Shipping.
$285 USD + Shipping, Also will consider trade offers.
