For Sale is 500 Words Reserve Fountain Pen (Nicknamed it 'King Kobra')
Beautiful black snake skin celluloid w/ facets, transparent body. mint condition, looks like a brand new pen.
14k gold Eversharp Skyline nib, medium nib that was stubbed. Unflexed, it writes amazingly smooth with a wet flow.
Full flex from M to BBB, requires little pressure to flex. Modified nib with 'added flex', cut into wings of nib, similar to Pilot FA nib.
Judging from the feel and texture of section and feed I believe they are made of ebonite.
Unusual Syringe filler - Working, simply pull metal rod back and you suck up ink. On first pull, you get around 50-60% fill. To get full fill, hold pen so that the nib points up, push rod to squeeze out excess air. Then put nib back into ink bottle and pull rod out. Usually get around 90% on 2nd try. Be sure to put napkin over nib when pushing excess air out. Recommend to try it with water first.
