The Spencerian modification requires two operations: First, re-grind to Super Extra Fine (the lighter the pressure you can use with any fountain pen, especially ones with a tip this Extra Fine, the smoother they will write). The second process increases flexibility somewhat by thinning tines. This frequently increases the ink flow from a nib. Increased flexibility means greater fragility. Please be careful not to press too hard with this nib. Please note that this is a specialized customization used for writing Spencerian script--significant skill and practice is required, and this will not be a customization that is suitable for most everyday usage.

ok so this is an acrylic black falcon. purchased at nibs.com and picked up there-i live close by. i can supply paperwork, etc. this is in mint condition. i would accept $175 and include shipping in the US
