Pilot Prera clear/demonstrator: prone to cracks or no?

Are the clear/demonstrator Pilot Preras free from cracking — not that from abuse or dropping, but the "mystery" cracks that seem to plague some pens owing to no clear cause?

Everything I know about the Prera is a win, but I'm not clear about how prone they are to cracking..thanks for any help!

I have mine for years and never noticed any cracking. I have both the demonstrator model and the soft blue version. It's a great little pen.

clear plastic on the Petit1s have held up fine for years but I can't bring myself to own a Prera yet :( just something about the Metropolitan feeling so much more solid & nicer weighted yet costing less. Wierd unique situation!

Had and used 2 Preras for a year, no problems at all.
