I was lucky to find two more of the Montecristo Espada boxes recently. The lids of these boxes are covered with a distressed leather imprinted with images of a Spanish style sword in gold and black. These are limited edition boxes and won’t be found often.
The larger of the two, called Quillion, measures 9 3/4″ by 8″ by 1 1/2″ and will hold 9 pens up to 6 3/4″ long in individual full-length black velvety pen compartments. It is priced at $45 plus shipping.
The other box, called Guard, is slightly smaller, measuring 8 3/4″ by 7 1/4″ by 1 1/2″ and it will hold 8 pens up to 5 7/8″ long in the same type of full-length individual black velvety pen compartments. It is priced at $40 plus shipping.
