Omas issued a Limited Edition set of pens in 1999 to honor the 80th birthday of Nelson Mandela. Here are three never inked beauties with matching piece numbers 0451/1600. Each has its own theme and is adorned with artwork inspired by South African artists. The pens are executed in bright enamel with sterling silver furniture and trim.

As far as I can tell, the pens have never been inked. I tested them with water and each piston operates, properly taking in and expelling water. Sterling silver does tarnish with age, and I left these with a light natural patina. You can easily polish these to a full shine with any silver polishing cloth if you so desire. I do not have the boxes.
