Ok, well, maybe I wouldn't know "super-flex" from "super-fluous", but this is pretty super to me. I just don't see myself getting into flexy writing. For sale is a gray pearl Parker Vacumatic Standard, lockdown filler, with a flexible nib. I restored it with a new diaphragm and breather tube. Transparency is just OK, which is to say, usable. It is personalized with "Bruce Stephens" in cursive. It's hard to see. It's missing its top jewel (and for those who don't know how the caps are put together, be assured that this doesn't have any effect whatsoever on the nib drying out). Finally, the cap has a "short throw" of a quarter turn, but does hold securely. There's nothing special about the pen body, but the nib, though... The strokes vary from about 0.5mm or, just under it, to 2mm or so. The plating is still quite good, too.
