Anyone know where I might find a video of a slow motion of ink drying? I am especially interested in a high sheen ink drying slo-mo. Or one of ink colors separating on a paper towel as I have seen in some reviews.

We are a strange bunch, are we not? I would watch it too although I have no idea if it exists or where to find it.

Actually it sounds do-able. I am not sure slow motion is what you want if the target is sheen development. That is if the sheen development is a slower thing than the water absorption/evaporation. Maybe more like stop action with still images taken every second or so. At least that is the way I would do it. Been teaching myself video editing for fun. Don't have a video camera, well a digital one, or I would give it a try.

Hmmm. What does it say about me that I totally understand this query to the extent that I feel a research grant is in order?

This is close to what I was wondering about. Sent to me by a friend. I just want to see the ink component movement. Do not know why, I just have always been a questioner.

I have taken computer based classes on Lynda.com and they have video classes. Their classes are fantastic, highly recommended. Thanks for your ideas.

I'll give it a look. I have a friend who is an editor so he has been helping me.

I guess it looks to me like deconstruction, what it was before. Some are beautiful to boot.
