I have restored this pen and refurbished the filling system to perfect working condition using the materials, methods and tools recommended and used by the leading Vacuum fill professionals.
Condition
The barrel has remarkable transparency - I've tried to capture it in the photos and video below. The barrel is in beautiful condition with only the hint of a couple of shallow teeth marks on the blind cap. They could have been buffed out but that would have ruined the knurling and I didn't think that an acceptable trade-off.
The gold filled clip and band are free from brassing. The clip has a bit of a wiggle - not enough to be any problem.
The nib is lovely - just look at it.
The plunger is in excellent condition and makes a perfect vacuum. Check out the video.
