Were you doing a dip with the 146 to use it without a feed?

I was using the feed haha. I'm saving the feed. My logic is that Montblanc will replace the feed with a new plastic one, so no reason to let the excellent ebonite feed go to waste. I use them with other #6 nibs for custom pens.

Also, I revised it. Having compared the 146 nib to another modern Montblanc nib, it's not as semi-flex as I thought. I'd say its just springy.
