Can you confirm whether or not that is an Oblique nib? From the closer pic it seems like a left-foot 15 degree slant (perhaps what they mean by 'backhand' writing under the 2442's description).

Yes, this is a left-handed oblique. Apologies for the lack of clarification!

Hi, I'm new to different types of nibs sorry, could you clarify please what this type of nib is for and how it writes? Is it for left-handed people? Thanks!

It's great for those who are left-handed, however, I've seen reviews of right-handed people who can write fine with it.

If you don't want this nib, I have other nibs, such as 9968, 15590, and 2314-F. Let me know!

I thought the one for left handed people had to slant down where the right side is lower (because leafties tend to turn the pen more towards the right), and that left obliques (ie: slants down to the left) are impossible for left handed people because it requires turning the nib to the left to write with.
