Hi all,
I am looking for a 3 or 5 year diary with paper that is fountain pen friendly.

There are two that I am looking at currently, but I don't know what the paper quality is...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0977648184/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0963713809&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=090ABXS4JPBEYPKS3YP4

I really like this one too, but the shipping to the US is just too much to be worth it.

If anyone knows about any other options, let me know.

Leuchtturm products are usually fountain pen friendly, I believe. Goulet may know something about this one. You might try asking them.

I read a review of the Leuchtturm by a fountain pen user saying that the paper in that line a day journal was not that great. I have never used Leuchtturm products, so I don't know if it is different than their usual paper.

Julieanna,

You might ask your question on one of the fountain pen users groups on FB. Someone there might know or have suggestions.

I bought the one from Amazon, the Tamara Shopsin one, and it is okay. The format is great, the size is perfect. The paper is thick, thick enough to not bleed through unless you were using a larger nib with a wet ink. I wrote in mine a but with an EF Pilot Decimo with De Atramentis ink, and no bleed through, does not even show on the reverse. There is some feathering however, it shouldn't pose too much of a problem with finer nibs. Overall, its a great notebook, I would buy it again.

Thank you for the report, there is a lot of options out there, it's useful to know which ones to get or not.

Julieanna,

After your post, I got curious about these. I picked up this one from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Five-Year-Memory-Journal-Thought-Provoking-Chronicle/dp/1454911271/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1447117382&sr=1-1&keywords=five+year+memory+journal

It seems to work okay with Fine Point nibs. I tried a Faber Castell Loom (EF) and a Lamy 2000 (F).
