Stumbled onto this website which searching for information on pens and its forums looked extensive so I am joining.
I have a number of pens and pencils from my father. He was an engineer so his collection includes mostly mechanical pencils from 1950's to 1970's but he always used a fountain pen and I have a bunch of those as well, including Mont Blanc and Pellikan. My recollection is they were all purchased new in the 1970's.
I was interested in identifying the pens in order to sell them but the simple act of getting them out of the drawer and handling them reminded me of my father and I have decided to keep them.
I am still interested to understand what they are and could use help on identifying them. I will likely post pics in the appropriate brand forums.

Some pics of my dad's Mont Blanc fountain pens. From top to bottom I think we are looking at Carrera, 144R, 149, and 221.

And a couple of Pellicans and nibs. The one is a 120, still working to identity the other.

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell.

Great collection. The unknown Pelikan looks like an early M-200. Here is mine on the far right with the gray binde.

Back before the bridge we used to take the ferry over for a day on the Eastern shore.

I like the pencil collection. I too am an engineer and use to have a collection of fancy pencils. As the world has moved toward CAD and doing everything on computers the need for and use of quality drafting pencils has gone done. Nonetheless that black and red Rotring makes me want to go sketch random things. I know it's just a pencil. I'm weird.
