Apparently there has been yet another successful kickstarter fountain pen project called the Tactile Turn Gist. I sorta like this one--there are a good amount of nib options, it seems well designed, and the Damascus steel is just...awesome.

Thoughts?

The link isn't working for me.

(Later) It started working. Nice pens, not really tempting at this point, but I could have seen buying the polycarbonate one a few years ago when I was working out what I liked.

I got in at the stainless steel finial level. I have a Tactile Turn Mover (non-FP alert!!) with a Pilot Juice refill that I carry everyday, and it looked like it would be a nice fountain pen compliment to that pen. Will makes some really nice stuff, and I'm sure this pen will continue that tradition.http://static1.squarespace.com/static/515b8e65e4b0afec1216fa44/54456353e4b0adf59729061e/563bd432e4b03083073e211e/1446761522788/Tactile+Turn+Gist-34.jpg?format=1500w

What makes them "Tactile" btw? (least they didn't go "Tactical")

My guess would be the ribbing along the length of the pen.

What's the filling system?

Cartridge/Converter (Standard International)

Though odd that they wouldn't specify on their website nor that they have converters in the spare part section.

SBRE Brown did a review with the full range of materials and nibs on his Youtube channel if you are interested :)

Only short cartridges and special converter.

"special" ? So one of those schmidt converters that have a tighter hole on the top? (kind of like how some kaweco and faber-castell pens have too loose/thin a nipple for most generic converters to snap on)
