No brassing, the nib is straight, the barrel is beautiful with no marks or scratches - I've polished it to a silky sheen. It has a new sac.
The pen is engraved Gertrude A. Jennings - originally in gold filled letters. The gold had come out of many of the letters so I removed it from all making the name far less prominent against those lovely stripes.
