I have reluctantly decided to sell my two limited edition ebonite Stipula Passaportos. These beautiful pens were part of the original limited edition of 220 pens issued by Fahrneys. Mine are numbers 013 and 203.
Both peans are in superb condition. I do not remember filling the 203, but the 013 has been used a bit, yet was pampered in every way. The steel nibs on the pens are Fine and these are magnificent writers. I used the 013 as an eye-dropper and it works smoothly and evenly without any problems at all.
It is worth noting that these are the original models of the Passaportos prior to Stipula introducing the (ugly) metal threads. While there was an issue that needed to be corrected on the flimsy plastic versions, the ebonite versions (at least mine) have strong threading that works flawlessly, and these pens present very clean and smooth curves uninterrupted by metal. They are a pleasure to hold, to behold and to write with.
The metal band has a roll stopper and also serves to protect the caps's threading. A very smart design.
The pens come with the original (huge) boxes and all of the original papers, as seen on the photos.
I am asking $150 for the minty 203, and $125 for the near minty 013, which includes USPS Priority Mail shipping within USA. If you want both pens, the price is $250 for the pair.
At this point I am looking to sell within USA only.
As usual, I guarantee my pens, and will accept returns if a buyer is not completely happy with the purchase.
Only the pens are for sale (with the original boxes and papers), other objects on the photos are not being offered.
