I went on a bit of an exploration in the fall, venturing into the realm of vintage pens.
I wanted to try out some of the classics, and as usual I was after beautiful writers, not collector pieces.
In the end, my favorites turned out to be the Pelikans, and so I am letting go of the others.
This Maxima has an original sac that was carefully inspected, determined to be in very good shape and reseated, so that it will go for many more years yet.
The pen has the original correct massive nib and feed, and writes incredibly smoothly with a perfect 7/10 flow. No skipping or hard start issues ever. I would say the nib is a medium.
There is additional information given in the hand-written note in one of the photos. The pen was used to write the note.
Only the pen is for sale, other objects on the photos are not being offered. Do look at the photos, as these are part of the description, and these should give you a very accurate impression of the pen and its excellent condition. Please note that there is a name inscribed on the pen.
At this point the sale is within US only, and the shipping is included in the price.
As usual, I guarantee my pens, and will accept returns if a buyer is not completely happy with the purchase.
