I’ve had some surgery and the bills that go along with it, so I need to raise some cash for the cause.
I will entertain reasonable offers if you think my prices are way off mark. Paypal is preferred (Gift or add 3.5%) Shipping is included in the prices. I'll apologize in advance for the poor picture quality.
These are pens that either don’t make it into my rotation or I just don’t want anymore.
From left to right the pens are as follows:
1. Schneider Base – Black with medium nib. Comes with empty cartridge and spare to keep it snugly seated. Mint to excellent condition. I only used the one cartridge and decided it’s just not the pen for me. These pens currently retail for @ $30, I’m asking $10.
2. Esterbrook double (intact) jeweled model J – Red with a 9461 manifold fine nib. Comes with new talced sac. Excellent to very good condition with only minor marking on the barrel and a hint of brassing on the bottom tassie (you won’t see it if you don’t look for it). Sold
3. Esterbrook double (intact) jeweled model SJ (Demi) – Blue with a 2048 flexible extra fine falcon nib. Comes with like new talced sac. Excellent condition with zero brassing, teeth marks, cracks, etc. Inked once I realized this pen is too small for my fat fingers! Sold
4. Parker Vacumatic Standard – Brown with decent barrel transparency and a gold Parker U.S.A. what appears to be a fine nib (no visible date code on nib). Date code on body is 0., so I believe this is from the 3rd quarter of 1940 as it also has a fully functional Speedline filler (tested w/water).
I bought this pen from Karl Blessing and received it with the blind cap tassie missing (jewel is intact)….I looked around for a while, but never found a replacement. There is some minor brassing on the cap band. I never inked it but did dip test the pen when I received it and the nib is pretty smooth. Sold
5. Parker Lady Duofold Streamline (Canada) – Lapis Lazuli Blue (on white) with a 14K England Parker nib (15=Demi/9=Duofold). This nicely restored pen measures 4 7/16” capped, it has a nice ring top and fully functioning button filler with good sac. The imprint reads Geo. S. Parker/ Parker Duofold/ Made in Canada and is a bit faint in spots. There is some minor brassing on the rings but there are no cracks, bite marks, etc. I inked this pen once and it writes like a fine. This pen is too small for me and does not make it into my rotation….so…..I’m asking $60 for this little beauty.
6. Conway Stewart Dinkie 560 – Blue w/Gold veins and a beautiful 14k fine nib. I bought this a few years back and discovered that it had the original sac in it…it looked beautiful – white with Conway Stewart printed on it. Unfortunately, it crumbled to pieces as soon as I touched it. I never replaced the sac, so it will need a new one. Aside from that however this pen is in almost mint condition with absolutely no brassing, bite marks or cracks and the lever has good spring to it. Too small for my hands, I’m asking $100.
