Though Ben Mawhorter scheduled the Ohio Pen Show on the wrong week this year, leaving me having to miss it for the first time in ages, he did me a great kindness proxy bidding for me in the auction. I don't often manage to add gem Jade Celluloid pens to my Jade Celluloid pen collection, but this one will go into that collection.
From the Ohio 2015 auction, Diamond Medal Diplomat, the best that Sears offered circa ~ 1930, this one as oversized Combo, made for Sears' Diamond Medal brand by National/Barrett. Still with nib grade sticker. Essentially unused. With as-perfect color.
