At the Facebook group tonight (link in signature space below) and next door at FPB (also found below), we've had hefty jabber about the "circuit board" Sheaffer sub-brand WASP Clipper pens. Looking to waste a few minutes, I rounded up most of the "circuit board" Sheaffer sub-brand WASP Clipper 1930s fountain pens I had lying about. A few from sales stock and a few pens in cases no doubt are missing below. I have not hunted these aggressively, though I do like them. So, over the last 15 years I've grabbed them here and there when they turned up in appealing circumstances.

Those look great. I work for an electronics recycling facility and this would be a perfect pen for work. I know there's obviously a lot of various models in this photo, but do these go for "reasonable" prices in the wild?

Prices can be all over the place. Plunger-fill variants require a roughly $40 restoration, if one wants the pens to work. Lever-fill pens are much easier, can be done by casual restorers, and cost less when done professionally. Size and condition makes a huge difference. Some brassing is not a huge deal, but avoiding bad threads and avoiding cracks are important to do. These days clean oversized pens can run couple hundred dollars or more, restored and retail. I would not be shocked if a worn small pen could be found raw on ebay for $40 or so.

I think if we call it the "Minecraft" fountain pen, it'll popular with the younger generation.

I've toyed with calling it the Rorschach pattern. People seem to see different things in it ;)
