I hope everyone had a happy -- and stuffing -- Thanksgiving!
Did you miss me? Forget about me? Hope I wouldn't come back? It's been more than a month since my last newsletter and it's due to the fact that November turned out to be the month from Hell -- as far as both software and hardware were concerned. Seemingly everything failed at one time, and I'm only just now beginning to pick up the pieces. Consequently, this will be a rather quick 'Hi" to remind you that I'm still here (even though the website wasn't updated for several weeks).

But at the risk of it, I want to acknowledge receipt of the Conklin Sunburst that I immediately flushed out as you advise and then filled with my favorite Penquin Blue. It is a remarkable pen; the orange resin much more complex and lovely than the pictures show. And when I started writing I enjoyed the heft of the pen, the way it feels in the hand. But I was a little unprepared for how smoothly and easily the nib glides over the surface of the paper. So I think I'll stick with it for a while as I start another article.
