Here is one of the very nicest and hardest to find Pelikan 500/550NN sets you will ever see. The set features a pen with exceptional barrel clarity as well as a really nifty factory 14k OB nib which provides flex for plenty of line variation. The set is held in an outstanding condition signed Pelikan snap close case which looks black in my picture but is actually dark green.
I showed this gem set to Pelikan expert Rick Propas at the recent Ohio Pen Show and he loved it, saying it looked as nice as it probably did the day it left the factory.
The cap of the pencil bears the engravings “Pelikan 550 Germany Rolled Gold Double L”.
The cap of the pen bears the engravings “Pelikan Germany Rolled Gold Double L” and the barrel bears the engravings “Pelikan 500 Gunther Wagner Germany Export”.
The set is free from personalizations.
I hate to part with this beautiful set, but like Kramer on Seinfeld, “I’ve overbought” and bills are coming due.
