My Mont Blanc 165 Pencil needs repair.

See photos of pen and black part that has developed a crack.

Can this piece be acquired from Mont Blanc?

The Mont Blanc pencil mechanisms on eBay look different than mine.

This is the most common part to break on this pencil, in my experience. Montblanc will not just sell you the part, you would need to send to the Texas service center. Repair costs start around $50, but sometimes certain things are covered under warranty. It's real ambiguous. If you need the contact info, let me know, I don't have it handy at the moment, but can get it for you.
