So I'm thinking about having the clip of my Lamy 2000 anodized to change it to Blue I think.... BUT I need to take the clip off I have wanted a few videos on "pen disassemble but they never do the cap. Anyone know how?

Btw, just wanted to add to this... that the cap top doesn't always unscrew so easily. The video doesn't explain much, but the reason for inserting the "rod" inside the pen is to grip the screw that holds the cap top. It is flat, no slot, so you have to press firmly. Ideally, use something that has decent friction on the end. I had to use grip tape on the end of a narrow stick to get sufficient grip. It turned out that my cap top also had some kind of semi-flex glue applied, much like "Shoe-Goo". It was pretty difficult to remove, but after a few minutes, I was able to get it off and then scrape off the old glue. Screwing the top back on was pretty easy and it tightened up nicely (don't know why glue was applied earlier--maybe it was just the manufacturing default process at the time).
