Parker 51 Demi Vac, $86 **SOLD**
For sale is a beautiful cedar blue Parker 51 Demi Vac fill with gold striated cap. The nib is a butter smooth full medium to broad with almost no feedback. Barrel imprint is “PARKER “51” MADE IN USA 8.” (third quarter 1948). Barrel and blind cap are glossy and unblemished. The section does have signs of wear where it grips the cap. These are light surface marks and can be buffed out if desired. Cap is in VG/excellent condition, imprinted “1/8 14K GOLD FILLED MADE IN USA” There is one small indentation in the cap that I cannot pick up in photos and is very hard to see in person unless holding carefully under light and turning the cap to catch it. There is also a very small ding on the lip of the cap that is also very hard to pick up in photos (but if you look closely at the lip under the K and E in the PARKER cap imprint you can make it out). Jewel is an intact grey pearl. Pen has been restored and fills and writes wonderfully with excellent ink flow. Asking US $86 plus $8 for tracked/insured shipping anywhere in North America via Canada Post. Shipping outside North America at cost.
