Last months I've been successfully repairing a couple of pens: new sacs, cork replacement (with rubber o-rings)... But yesterday I tried the biggest challenge: there was a little break in the barrel of my MATADOR Express. It was leaking, so I decided to open the system, change the old cork with new rubber rings, a bit of grease and that stuff...
A little bit of pressure to reinstall the filling system...
More pressure on it...
Mmmmmh... It doesn't fit... A little bit more pressure...

OMG!!!!

WTF!!!

What a disaster!!!!

Anyone could provide me a spare part for this mess?

I mean the barrel of the Matador Express

I promise not to try again. As it's always said, a professional is a professional.

Sadly those old pens are sometimes really brittle. :\ That can happen to even a professional. I had a very rare, very valuable Soennecken literally crumble to pieces in the hands of an expert. Sometime they can't be saved. The easiest solution might be to have a new barrel made.
