I had a really tough time finding details on disassembly of the HS Midi. Everyone seems to buy the Maxi and that nib assembly screws in and out of the section. My Midi wouldn't unscrew and at first I couldn't pull the nib and feed out either. I finally found a bit of rubber to grip the nib and feed better and with a bit more force it finally came apart. For any future persons who purchase one and have trouble taking it apart, just get a good grip and pull. Don't bother buying tools and don't try to twist and unscrew. It appears my first attempt at unscrewing it actually caused the edges of the nib to scratch the inside of the insert the nib and feed press into. As for reassembly, the insert appears perfectly round. There is no apparent specific orientation in which the nib and feed need to be inserted.
