Nakaya Kiko Piccolo with Flex Music Nib

This is a beautiful Nakaya Kikyo Piccolo fountain pen. It has a Nakaya music nib that has been modified for extra flex. Because of the thickness of the tines, the flex you can achieve is not all that obvious. Clearly this is not a Waterman music nib.

That said, the nib writes smooth as butter with a nice juicy line. When you put some pressure on it, you get some line variation.

The nib has some superficial scratches on it but they don't affect performance. I'm not even sure how they got there, unless it happened when I sent the nib in for added flex.

The pen uses a cartridge/converter filling system. Comes with the original box and kimono.

The fountain pen with the music nib and added flex cost me $750 originally. I am asking $525 shipping included CONUS.

Oh, but the Kikyo is so rich a blue. Besides, you can ink it with Iroshizuku Ama-iro!

I like the pale blue to match my toki-iro :) the 2016 Pantone colors of the year, but the nib on your pen is lovely!
