That's an Afternoon Wasted

Some of you probably know that I film fountain pen reviews for YouTube. I don't have lots of free time right now, but I had a free time this afternoon, so I filmed 8 in a row. (Lucky thing I aim for the 5 minute mark!)

So, just now, I started to look at the footage. I made the mistake of eating peanuts before filming. A huge piece of that red skin from the peanuts is right on my front tooth in every single video. I can't use the footage! It's not subtle or hidden. It's out there.

Warning! If you make videos, check your teeth, hair, etc. before you film. Lesson learned!

I refilmed the reviews today when I planned to film writing samples. So, I'll have to see if I can film writing samples some evening without daylight to help me out. Maybe this will force me back to my Thursday morning upload schedule that I used to have.

One fun thing I discovered today: I can put a grid on the screen to see if I'm positioned according to the rule of thirds.
